Gate Hours

• Gates of Bohamia will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (April 16-18) from 2-8pm CT. 

• Everyone is expected to arrive during gate hours and may exit at any time. 

• Reentry is only possible during gate hours. 

• ** No one will be permitted to enter the festival outside of gate hours **

Volunteering

• Everyone is encouraged to sign up for a 2-hour volunteer shift. 

• Volunteers will receive an Awakenus Redemption Token that can be exchanged for a $10 value on purchases with participating vendors. 

• View available volunteer shifts (see all pages for shifts in different areas)

• Message the Volunteers WhatsApp group with your preferred shift. Contact Gabby on WhatsApp if you need to be added: +1 (850) 910-3318.

Parking/Vehicle Camping 

• Be sure to purchase an option for parking on Eventbrite prior to the event. You can choose between a Parking Pass (main lot with drop off site for gear) or Vehicle Camping (park beside your campsite - includes access to Quietish Camping Zone near the pond at Bohamia). 

Burn Night Participation

• All participants are welcome to bring a small structure made of natural (I.e. nontoxic, burnable) materials to contribute to the burn on Saturday, April 19. 

• Structures may be placed throughout the campground prior to the burn and brought to the effigy site on Saturday night. 

• Please message the Awakenus Community WhatsApp group if you plan to bring a structure for the burn. Contact Hayley on WhatsApp if you need to be added to the group: +1 (256) 613-4122. 

• We are organizing a drum circle/open acoustic jam and conclave performance including fire dancing for the burn. If you have purchased a pass and plan to participate in the drum circle/open acoustic jam and/or conclave performance, please message the Awakenus Community WhatsApp group about what you plan to contribute. You will be added to a separate Conclave WhatsApp group to receive communications about burn night plans. 

Theme Camps

• Theme camps that applied by March 1st will been placed on the festival map.

• If your theme camp did not apply by March 1st, it will not be on the festival map. If you are part of a theme camp that didn’t apply, you can arrive to Bohamia as early as 2pm on Thursday, April 16 to claim a spot for your theme camp.

Co-Creators/Vendors/Orgs

• All co-creators, vendors and community orgs must purchase passes by April 1st to be placed on the festival schedule and map. 

• Note: Eventbrite offers pay later and installment options for those with PayPal, CashApp and Klarna accounts.

• Purchase a pass and parking option on Eventbrite. 

Conscious Creativity Fund (CCF)

• Art grants may be available through the Conscious Creativity Fund (CCF). You can apply as a music, workshop, performance, and/or art co-creator.

• After costs for the festival are covered by pass sales, The Awakenus Org will allocate funds to the CCF for distribution to co-creators who have applied for an art grant/financial support. 

• Reminder: Awakenus is a co-created event. Everyone is required to purchase a pass (even organizers). 

• We still need to sell at least 53 more passes to fund the CCF. Please help us support artists by purchasing a pass and telling your friends about the festival.

• The CCF application can be found here. Art grants/financial support are not guaranteed.

Merch

• Due to not reaching order minimums, The Awakenus Org decided not to order pre-screen printed shirts and carabiner cups this year. Anyone who purchased shirts or cups will be contacted about alternative options.

• We’re encouraging everyone to bring a pre-owned or thrifted t-shirt to tie-dye and screen print at the festival for a suggested $5-$10 donation. Bringing a thrifted/pre-owned shirt also supports the festival’s sustainability mission. 

• Keepsake art posters will still be available to purchase at the festival.

Golf Carts

• A few golf carts are still available to rent for $500, which covers rental and delivery fees for the weekend. Special rates are available for ADA use. Please email us at org@awakenusfestival.com for a phone number you can text if you want to be part of the group golf cart order.

Stay updated

• Keep an eye on the @awakenus_festival Instagram account and check the Awakenus Community WhatsApp groups for the latest updates (anyone who purchases a pass will be added to this group)

• We're also adding passholders to various subgroups in WhatsApp based on their interest including Volunteering and Conclave participation. Confirmed co-creators are added to respective groups for music, art, workshops, and vending. Contact Hayley on WhatsApp (+1 (256) 613-4122) if you need to join a specific subgroup or have purchased your pass and have not already been added to the Awakenus Community WhatsApp group.
